Cyber-physical systems (CPS) are next-generation embedded systems featuring a tight integration of computational and physical elements. Emerging applications of CPS include transportation, healthcare, energy, manufacturing, entertainment, consumer electronics, environmental monitoring, and aerospace, all of which will be essential pieces of our social infrastructure. A grander vision of CPS faces a core challenge of multidisciplinary research collaborations, as their relevant technologies appear in diverse areas of science and engineering. The objective of CPSNA is to explore innovative, exciting, and fresh ideas for CPS. Contributions should emphasize on the design, implementation, and evaluation of systems, networks, and applications. The scope of CPSNA 2013 will give due consideration in all areas of research that facilitate collaborations between CPS and existing technologies. Topics of special interest include, but are not limited to, the following:
March 31 April 7 April 14, 2013 (final extension)
May 24 May 28, 2013 (delayed)
Camera-Ready Submission June 3, 2013
Conference August 19-20, 2013
Submitted papers must adhere to page limits of 6 pages. The paper formats must follow 8.5-inch by 11-inch with two columns using a font size of 10 pt. Authors are encouraged to use the IEEE proceedings template: http://www.ieee.org/conferences_events/conferences/publishing
Selected papers of CPSNA 2013 will be invited to a special issue of Journal of Systems Architecture:
Applications papers must clarify what systems and networks are employed!
Systems and networks papers must describe what applications could be enhanced!
All submitted papers must contribute to computation, sensing/actuation, and/or all-round architectures of CPS and related technology.
